Lakeland Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located at 1772 Kiser Lake Road in St. Paris, Ohio. Originally established in 1964, the layout was expanded and reworked in 2002 by owners Ron and Ana Burns with the design expertise of architect Barry Serafin. The course measures 6,932 yards from the championship tees and features five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels. It carries a USGA rating of 73.4 and a slope rating of 135. The terrain is characterized by generous, impeccably groomed fairways that wind through native fescue grass and woodland areas. Natural water hazards come into play on several holes, while strategically positioned bunkers add challenge to the traditional design. The setting provides views of beautiful country backdrops, offering a layout that allows for an enjoyable round through a park-like environment. Lakeland Golf Club is recognized as a notable design in the Dayton and Columbus area. The course is frequently utilized for tournaments and outings, supported by the club's clubhouse and amenities which also serve as a venue for weddings and banquets. The facility maintains a reputation for professional service and is considered a premier destination for golf events in the region.
