Course Information Unclaimed
Address:

Located near the Highland Lakes in the Hill Country, the course plays 6,754 yards to a par 71 and has five par 3s. Lakecliff Golf Course was designed by Arnold Palmer and features 12 man-made lakes, scenic waterfalls, and spectacular Hill Country views. One of the most notable aspects of the course is that it features bent grass greens, a rarity in the Hill Country. Located on the cliffs of Lake Travis inside the gates of Lakecliff on Lake Travis just outside of Austin, the course presents challenging terrain throughout. Hole #4 is a fun and challenging (#1 handicap) 500-yard par 5 that requires a carry over a deep ravine to a wide-open landing zone, then a slight left across a dry rock creek bed, and a challenging approach shot to a big odd-shaped green with lots of contour at the back.
The layout offers a little bit of everything that makes the course fun and challenging – lots of big bunkers, forced carries, water on 11 holes, tough approaches, great greens, risk-reward opportunities, and more. Thanks to 5 sets of tee boxes Lakecliff offers an opportunity to make your round very demanding or fun and relaxing. Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Lakecliff golf course opened in 2003. The course changed hands in 2019 and the new owners have done a remarkable job in improving the course conditions.
