Lake View Country Club, organized in 1958 and opened for play on Memorial Day 1959, is located in North East, Pennsylvania. The course was designed and built by James Gillmore Harrison, a protégé of renowned architect Donald Ross. Measuring 6,883 yards and playing to a par of 72, the course represents a significant test of golf in the Erie region.

The private club, limited to 400 golfing members, has established itself as a premier destination for serious and casual golfers alike. Lake View has hosted several prestigious tournaments, including the West Penn Amateur Championship and the Pennsylvania State Amateur Championship.
