Lake Redding Golf Course was built in 1959 and is nestled below the historic Redding Train Trestle soaring 110 feet above it. The course is within walking distance of Caldwell Park, the Sacramento River and its famous Trail System. The 9-hole course features 1,790 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 31. The course offers 4 water hazards and two bunkers and challenges any golfers' game.
The location right in downtown Redding makes this a great little par 29, nine hole course very convenient. The nine hole course is harder than it appears, requiring use of most clubs in a player's bag, and is well maintained with sand and water traps. In the summers they run night golf with glowing golf balls and cups.
