Lake Mills Golf Club, located in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, is an 18-hole golf course with a rich history dating back to 1927. Originally founded as a nine-hole course through community investment, the club expanded to its current 18-hole layout in later years under ownership by Monte Lounsbury, who acquired additional land east of the original course.

The course evolved from its humble beginnings, when members hand-shaped fairways and manually removed stones from the fields. A notable landmark, the "Chocolate Drop," remains on the edge of the 9th fairway, formed from accumulated field stones. The clubhouse, originally a farmhouse from the property's agricultural past, has undergone significant renovations since 1972.

Recent ownership and management have focused on course improvements, including irrigation system restoration, tee box leveling, and sand trap repairs. The facility operates as both a golf course and dining venue, featuring casual amenities like Friday night fish fries and event hosting capabilities through its clubhouse and grill. The course maintains accessibility for both local players and visitors seeking a traditional Wisconsin golf experience.
