La Valle Coastal Club features 27 holes of championship golf on three 9-hole courses designated as North, South, and East. The South course features 3,475 yards for a par of 36 and was designed by Jay Morrish. The property was envisioned in 1960 by renowned golf course builder Roy Canady as a sun-drenched paradise in the Whispering Palms enclave of Rancho Santa Fe. The North and South courses underwent a Jay Morrish redesign in 1996. The golf course was completely rebuilt in 2023.

The course is set amid majestic hills and is located three miles from Del Mar and the Pacific Ocean. The 27-hole championship course offers some of the most walkable golf in San Diego. Conditions across all 27 holes were improved with a new irrigation system, better drainage, and full turf replacement, with practice facilities including a 320-yard double-sided driving range, a chipping area with bunkers, and a dedicated putting green. The course is designed to be walkable, with carts available for members who prefer to ride.
