La Iguana Golf Course

La Iguana Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout designed by Ted Robinson located in Playa Herradura, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The course measures 6,698 yards with a par of 72, a course rating of 73.4, and a slope of 145, offering a naturally challenging design suitable for players of all skill levels.

Set within Costa Rica's exotic rainforest, the course features breathtaking ocean views and is richly landscaped with native plants, banana trees, orchids, and abundant wildlife including monkeys and over 150 bird species. The demanding layout takes full advantage of the jungle terrain and natural topography.

The facility includes a comprehensive golf academy staffed by PGA-certified professionals offering instruction and video analysis, a full-size driving range, practice putting green, and TaylorMade rental equipment. The course operates daily with tee times available from 6:20 am to 3:50 pm and a driving range open from 7:00 am to 3:50 pm. La Iguana hosts tournaments, corporate events, and group outings and is part of the Los Suenos Resort complex, offering integrated resort amenities.
