La Colina Golf & Polo Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Open Door, Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina, situated just 12 kilometers from the city center. The course is developed along the banks of the Río Luján, stretching for more than four kilometers through a landscape defined by natural lagoons, streams, and large tree groves. Designed by Emilio Serra, a specialist who also worked on projects such as Club de Golf Las Praderas and Lagartos Country Club, the layout offers a challenging route for golfers of all handicaps. The course measures 7,001 yards from the championship tees, providing a demanding test of skill. The fairways are maintained with Tifton grass, while the greens are constructed with Agrostis Crenshaw. All greens meet USGA standards and are supported by a computerized irrigation system that ensures consistent playing conditions throughout the year. The design integrates the natural topography, with the fairways bordering the river and crossing natural water features, creating a visually distinct environment for play. La Colina opened in 2003 and features comprehensive facilities including a clubhouse, restaurant, pro shop, locker rooms, a driving range, and a putting green. The club also hosts a golf school and offers corporate event services, catering to both member and visiting golfers. The course's location near the capital, accessible via the highway, allows it to serve as a premier destination for golf and polo activities within the La Colina Villa de Campo complex.
