Kuno Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by acclaimed architect Shinsuke Kato. Located in Tomisato, Chiba Prefecture, the course spans 6,937 yards from the back tees, with a total yardage of 5,623 yards from the front tees.

The course features relatively flat fairways throughout, with subtle elevation changes of less than 10 meters that create engaging gameplay. The layout incorporates natural topography while maintaining aesthetic appeal, with mature cedar and broadleaf trees strategically placed throughout to enhance the design. The OUT nine presents straightforward play with flat fairways, though difficulty increases toward the middle and back holes. The IN nine offers trickier hole designs requiring precise tee shots, particularly holes 14-16, which are recognized as the course's most challenging stretch and critical scoring opportunities.

The 16th hole is notably recognized as the course's signature hole. The course's design emphasizes strategic shot-making, with success depending on accuracy from the tee rather than distance alone. Water features and bunkering are employed to define fairways and protect greens on key holes.
