Koriyama New Country Golf Course is a 7-hole, par-28 facility located in Miotacho, Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture. The course layout is designed to offer a variety of challenges within a compact footprint, featuring a mix of tee shot distances that range from short par-3s to longer par-5s. The total yardage varies depending on the tees selected, with the back tees measuring 1,973 yards and the front tees measuring 1,419 yards. The design includes two greens per hole, labeled A and B, allowing for different pin positions and strategic options. The course is characterized by its diverse hole types, including downhill middle holes, long holes suitable for full driver use, and short holes with difficult greens. Each hole is equipped with both back and front tees, providing flexibility for players of varying skill levels and physical conditions. The layout is situated in a natural setting that supports the golfing experience, with the facility emphasizing a relaxed, accessible environment for individual play without the need for reservations. A distinctive feature of the course is its extensive approach practice area, which occupies the space of the former holes 1 through 3. The facility also includes a clubhouse that was renovated in April 2023, featuring indoor practice corners, rest areas, and shower facilities.
