Kingsbarns Golf Links is a championship links course located 7 miles from St Andrews along 1.8 miles of North Sea coastline in Fife, Scotland. The 18-hole course was created on dramatic coastal terrain, with each hole embracing the sea and offering stunning visual backdrops throughout play.
The course is ranked among the world's top modern layouts, achieving 1st place in Golfweek's "Top Modern Courses in Great Britain and Ireland" (2024) and recognition as Europe's No.1 course created in the last 50 years by Golf Magazine (2009). It consistently ranks in the top 100 courses in Great Britain and Ireland.
Kingsbarns co-hosts the DP World Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship annually alongside St Andrews and Carnoustie, and hosted The Ricoh Women's British Open in 2017. The course sits on historically significant land with Bronze Age roots and 18th-century golfing heritage.
The layout provides a challenging traditional Scottish links experience characterized by natural coastal beauty, with dramatic topography and the North Sea's presence defining the playing experience across all holes.
