Killearn Country Club, originally built in 1967 in Tallahassee, Florida, is an 18-hole championship golf course undergoing comprehensive restoration. The club sits within the Killearn Estates development and is characterized by its landscape garden setting. Historically, it hosted 21 PGA tournaments and four LPGA events, including the PGA's Tallahassee Open (1969-1982) and the Centel Classic (1983-1989), attracting legendary golfers such as Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, and Gary Player.
The course features the redesigned Championship Course as its primary 18-hole layout. Additionally, a new 9-hole course called The Clover is under construction in the northeast portion of the property. The club is being renovated under current ownership with plans to restore aging facilities while maintaining championship-level play. Beyond golf, the renovation project includes a new clubhouse with dining facilities overlooking the course, practice facilities, swimming pool, tennis courts, and overnight cottages. The club aims to reclaim its position as a premier golfing and social destination in Tallahassee while preserving neighborhood character.
