Killarney Country Club

Killarney Country Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, featuring a par 70 layout measuring 6,145 meters for men and par 72 at 5,294 meters for ladies. The course is characterized as a narrow park-style layout that emphasizes driving accuracy, with tree-lined fairways creating a challenging playing environment. The greens are generously sized, rewarding accurate play from the fairways, though wayward shots require recovery play through wooded areas. The course is well-maintained and features water hazards and forest-lined fairways visible from The Terrace Restaurant overlooking the 18th hole. Located just off the M1 highway in Johannesburg, Killarney Country Club has operated since 1903 as a full-service country club offering golf, tennis, lawn bowls, squash, and gymnasium facilities alongside dining venues.
