Kaitangata Golf Club

Kaitangata Golf Club is a beginner-friendly nine-hole golf course situated alongside Wangaloa Beach in South Otago, approximately 20 minutes from Balclutha. The course is located on Wangaloa Domain Road in Kaitangata.

The layout features nine holes with a 12-hole option available for social play. Set within a scenic beachside setting, the course offers an accessible experience suitable for golfers of all skill levels, particularly beginners. The landscape incorporates views of the local coastal environment.

The club maintains an active social calendar, hosting weekly Wednesday social rounds at 12:30 pm featuring a 12-hole format, and Saturday golf for both men and women at the same time. The course is known for its friendly atmosphere and local hospitality, welcoming both members and guests throughout the year.
