Kaitake Golf Club

Kaitake Golf Club is a welcoming coastal golf course located south of New Plymouth in Taranaki, situated at Ōakura. The course features a gently undulating layout that is easy to walk while remaining challenging, with native trees, abundant birdlife, and sea views as defining characteristics. Sheltered by the surrounding ranges, the course is less affected by coastal winds and offers subtle greens with varied hole designs. The free-draining soils support year-round play. The course accommodates various skill levels and welcomes green fee players daily, with cart hire available. Kaitake hosts an active programme including Ladies' 18-hole and 9-hole competitions, Men's events, and junior coaching for ages 15 and under.
