The Jack Nicklaus Course is a 9-hole golf course located at Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland. Designed by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, the course was completed and reopened in July 1988. The course plays to a par 70 with a total length of 5,458 meters.
Originally constructed as the Xires Course in 1951, the layout was completely redesigned by Nicklaus starting in 1981. Six of the nine holes utilize the location of the former short golf course, while three holes were constructed on an adjacent site. The course features a mix of par-4 holes (six holes), par-3 holes (two holes), and one par-5 hole.
The course was built to complement the overcrowded 18-hole Plan-Bramois course at the club. Nicklaus transformed the original short, narrow layout into a more challenging design. Located in the Crans-Montana area at elevation, the course offers golfers a test of their skills across its nine-hole routing. The redesign by Nicklaus represents his first golf course construction project in Switzerland, making it a notable addition to the region's golf offerings.
