Irem Golf Course

Irem Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Dallas, Pennsylvania, situated in the picturesque hills with views of the Wyoming Valley. Designed by renowned architect A.W. Tillinghast in 1922, the course represents one of Tillinghast's notable North American designs. Tillinghast, inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2015, is also credited with designing prestigious courses including Bethpage State Park's Black Course, Baltusrol Golf Club, Winged Foot Golf Club, and Aronimink Golf Club.

The course originally featured a 27-hole layout. The terrain takes advantage of the natural landscape of the surrounding hills, offering scenic views throughout the property. As a certified PGA course, Irem Country Club has maintained its membership-based operations since its establishment. The club hosts tournaments and maintains historical records of holes-in-one achieved on the course. The facility includes amenities such as a pro shop, dining options, and golf instruction services, supporting both competitive and recreational play.
