Innisfail Golf Club, established in 1928, is located in Tropical North Queensland, approximately one hour south of Cairns. The course features a 9-hole design that can be played as an 18-hole composite layout, offering championship-quality golf with striking tropical views. Situated in the heart of the region, the course provides a challenging experience suitable for golfers of all abilities.

The club is set in a tropical landscape and was significantly impacted by Cyclone Larry in 2006, which destroyed nearly 200 Kauri Pines and altered the course layout. The facility includes a spacious timber "Queenslander" style clubhouse with a fully licensed bar and covered balcony overlooking the 1/10 tee and 9/18 green.

The course is maintained to high standards by volunteer members and operates as a public access facility. It is registered with the Far North Queensland Golf Association (GolfLink Course Number 40611) and hosts regular tournaments including the Innisfail Open and Innisfail Classic. The club welcomes members, visitors, tourists, and social players, offering memberships for men, ladies, juniors, and travellers.
