Ingrebourne Links Golf Course Top 100 Review

Ingrebourne Links Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole inland links course located near Rainham in Essex, situated just off the A13 approximately 20 minutes from central London. The course was designed by Alan Walker, a PGA Master Professional and member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, and was developed on 380 acres of reclaimed landfill land. The North Course nine opened in September 2017, with the East Course nine following in June 2020 to complete the current 18-hole championship layout. A third loop of nine holes, the South Course, is planned for future development to create a full 27-hole complex.

The championship North/East combination measures 7,122 yards and plays to a par of 72, carrying a course rating of 74.2 and a slope of 121. The terrain features rolling fairways, large undulating greens, and revetted and timber-faced bunkers designed to evoke a traditional coastal links atmosphere despite its inland location. Gorse and thick rough line many fairways, placing a premium on accuracy off the tee. The site's elevation creates some variety in the landscape, and views across the London skyline are a feature of several holes.

Notable holes include the par-five 15th, playing 634 yards from the highest point on the course with panoramic views, and the par-three 17th, which features a timber-abutted green exposed to the prevailing south-westerly wind. The course has been ranked among the top five in Essex and was selected to host the 2025 PGA Club Professionals Championship. A nine-hole par-three Mini Links course, also designed by Alan Walker, operates separately alongside a 30-bay covered driving range.
