Indian Springs Golf Club

Indian Springs Golf Club is a scenic, challenging 9-hole public golf course located in Middlefield, Connecticut. Designed by Al Zikorus and opened in 1964, the course has been operated by the Parmelee family for over six decades.

The course features a par-36 layout with notably immaculate conditions that rival private clubs. Key characteristics include rolling hills, water hazards, expansive fairways, and large, well-maintained greens. The setting offers scenic views throughout the nine holes, enhanced by the course's central Connecticut location.

Indian Springs has earned recognition as Connecticut Magazine's Best Public Golf Course for both 2024 and 2025, reflecting its high standards of maintenance and playability. Beyond the course itself, the facility includes a twelve-station driving range, short-game practice area, putting green, and a renovated clubhouse with the Fairweather Cafe. The course maintains a welcoming atmosphere and hosts various tournaments, leagues, and special events. Youth instruction and individual lessons are available through a PGA-certified coach.
