Imatran Golf is an 18-hole parkland golf course located in South Karelia, Finland, on the shores of Lake Immalanjarvi near the national border. Designed by architect Kosti Kuronen and opened in August 1987, the course is situated in a beautiful Karelian landscape with lake views visible from numerous fairways.
The course accommodates golfers of all skill levels. While challenging for advanced players, it offers safer bogey-golf opportunities for club players. The layout cleverly incorporates the surrounding environment and Lake Immalanjarvi, with the signature par-3 8th hole requiring a shot over a lake inlet to the green.
The course features diverse forest types including birch, alder, and various conifers throughout its layout. The fairways between holes are well-maintained to facilitate playable conditions and smooth pace of play, with typical rounds lasting four hours.
Facilities include a clubhouse with a pro shop, caddie master office, large terrace, and café. Practice areas comprising a grass range, putting greens, and bunkers are located adjacent to the club facilities. Showers and saunas are available to players, along with extensive parking.
