Hyakkaen Golf Course ☆ Follow

Hyakkaen Golf Course is a 9-hole executive course located in Koshi, Kumamoto Prefecture, approximately 30 minutes from central Kumamoto. The layout consists of 5 Par 4 holes (averaging 318 yards) and 4 Par 3 holes, with OUT measuring 2,223 yards (Par 32) and IN measuring 2,170 yards (Par 32).

The course accommodates a wide range of skill levels through flexible tee positioning, allowing golfers to play 18 holes using different teeing areas (blue for OUT, red for IN). The design features tree-lined corridors and wooded sections, with elevated greens displaying strong undulation. Despite these challenging elements, the course layout is accessible to beginners and female golfers.

Hyakkaen operates on a walk-in basis without advance reservations, welcoming solo players and groups of varying experience levels. The facility includes a complimentary driving range for players, practice areas, showers, and lockers. An on-site restaurant serves affordable meals. The course is adjacent to Koshi Hyakkaen Farm, which offers strawberry picking seasonally (December through May).
