Pryor Creek Golf Club in Huntley, Montana is a scenic 36-hole golf destination. It is home to one of only two 36 hole golf facilities in the state. The facility comprises two 18-hole courses: the Elmer Link Course with a par of 72 and the Johnny Walker Course with a par of 71. The Elmer Link Course was built in 1981 and was designed by John Walker, while the Johnny Walker Course was built in 2007 and designed by John Walker.
The course winds its way through natural elevation changes provided by the Pryor Creek valley, with panoramic views abundant throughout much of the course, giving golfers a full perspective of the rolling hills, the nearby bluffs, and the infinite Montana sky. The Penncross Bentgrass greens are good sized, slightly undulating, and putt very true, while Kentucky Bluegrass tees and fairways are neatly manicured to ensure playability for everyone. The Elmer Link Course features the famous Rockchuck Hole, a double dogleg slanting gradually to the right the entire length of the hole, and the Johnny Walker Course features wide fairways and five par 3s that make it pleasant for beginners.
Established in 1980, Pryor Creek Golf Club has a philosophy based on enjoyment of the game of golf and helping the game grow. The facility has an extensive tournament schedule throughout the summer.
