Hood River Golf Course, established in 1923, is the oldest golf course in Hood River, Oregon. The front nine was designed by renowned architect H. Chandler Egan, known for his work on Eugene Country Club, Tualatin Country Club, and Oswego Country Club. This opening nine provides a relaxed playing experience with consistent views of Mt. Hood as a backdrop.
The back nine was constructed in 1995 and presents a more challenging layout, winding through tree-lined terrain on the upper portion of the 300-acre property. This section features scenic vistas of surrounding vineyards and orchards characteristic of the Hood River region.
The course offers a full 18-hole layout with affordable daily rates and membership options. Lessons are available through the golf school, focusing on fundamental instruction and personalized improvement strategies. The facility includes Tabby's Hole In One Clubhouse, Bar & Grill, available for dining after rounds. The course operates seasonally, closing from December through January. RV parking is available on the property, and men's club competitions are held regularly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
