Hillview Golf ☆ Follow

Hillview Golf is an 18-hole executive course located in Vernon, established in 1986. The layout is designed as two 9-hole loops, presenting a total par of 56. With a total yardage of 3,300 yards, the course is characterized by short but challenging holes that demand precision rather than length. The terrain is defined by water hazards and strategic bunkering, with eight ponds connected by a wandering stream and several sand traps in play. This configuration creates a target golf course where accuracy is paramount. Only two of the fairways rate as par fours, while the remainder are par threes, requiring golfers to utilize a full complement of clubs, including woods, to navigate the layout effectively. The difficulty of the course is highlighted by its long par threes. Four of these holes measure 190 yards or more, including the challenging 225-yard finishing hole. This closing hole features a creek running immediately in front of the green and two ponds positioned to the right, serving as the most demanding test on the course.
