Hillcrest Country Club

Hillcrest Country Club is a private 9-hole golf course located near Adel, Iowa, approximately 15 minutes west of I-35/I-80, overlooking the scenic Raccoon River Valley. The course plays as a par 70 and features four alternate tee boxes designed to provide the experience of an 18-hole layout. The property includes a prominent pond that comes into play on holes 7/16 and 8/17, serving dual purposes for irrigation and course aesthetics. The course is characterized by well-maintained tees, fairways, and greens set within rolling landscape terrain. Established in 1956, Hillcrest was voted the best 9-hole course in Iowa in 2004. The facility includes a clubhouse with banquet facilities and a grill, plus golf cart storage and rental options. The club offers various competitive opportunities including men's and women's leagues, club tournaments, and couples twilight events. Tee times are not required, allowing members and guests flexible walk-on play.
