Highland Golf Course

Highland Golf Course in Cosmopolis is the oldest golf course in Grays Harbor County, having opened in 1931 and designed by William Overdorf. Originally a nine-hole layout, the course expanded to 18 holes in the early 1990s with the addition of a new front nine. The full course stretches 6,112 yards from the longest tees with a par of 70, featuring a course rating of 68.1 and slope rating of 111 on Rye grass. The moderately challenging layout offers a balanced test of golf, with the newer front nine complementing the classic original back nine. The course is situated in a regional setting that has made it a long-standing fixture in local golf for nearly a century, maintaining its appeal as both a recreational and competitive venue for area golfers.
