Hide-A-Way Golf Course is a nine-hole public golf course located in West Milford, West Virginia, in the hills of southern Harrison County on the Allegheny Plateau. The course originally opened in 1955, closed in 1980, and reopened in 2000. It features a par 35 layout stretching 3,064 yards across approximately 90 acres with a parkland style design. The course offers open, wide fairways and flat bent grass greens, designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The West Fork River frames the property, and while water does not come into play, the course is characterized by its natural, tranquil setting with rolling hills and woodlands. The fairways are cut with extra width for public golfers, and the bent grass greens were completely renovated to provide a competitive playing surface. The course is ideal for walking and remains family owned and operated.
