Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook, Nebraska is a links-style course designed by Phelps-Benz that opened in 1981 as one of Nebraska's first links courses. The layout features rolling hills, undulating greens, native grasses, and lush fairways with fast playing surfaces. Named one of Golf Digest's "Best 75 Golf Courses" in 1984, it presents a challenging Midwest test with wonderful scenic views.

The course underwent major renovation in 2013 to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The back tees stretch beyond 7,100 yards for advanced players, while multiple forward tees provide shorter options for recreational golfers. Over 4,000 feet of concrete cart paths were added to reduce walking and improve pace of play.

Heritage Hills has hosted numerous significant tournaments, including NGA, NWAGA, and NJGA events, along with the 2006 Nebraska Section CPC and 2014 Nebraska Junior Match Play Championship. The course annually hosts the John Mullen Community Hospital Pro-Am, a fundraising event that has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for the hospital foundation. Known for high-quality design and course conditioning, Heritage Hills offers excellent value and an unforgettable golfing experience.
