Hendon Golf Club, founded in 1903, is located in London's Green Belt near Mill Hill, just a 15-minute walk from the Northern Line (Mill Hill East station). The course was originally designed by J.H. Taylor and Harry Vardon, then redesigned by the renowned Harry Shapland Colt in 1923 following compulsory land acquisition for the A1 road.

The 18-hole course plays to 6,227 yards with a par of 70, featuring rolling tree-lined fairways and small, well-maintained greens that present a challenging test of golfing ability and course management. Set across approximately 100 acres, the layout is characterized by its demanding design and is ranked #5 in Middlesex by Top100 Golf Courses.

The club is member-owned with over 480 members and operates on a not-for-profit basis, reinvesting surplus revenue into course and facility improvements. Notable features include a south-facing clubhouse veranda overlooking the course, and the club hosts the 2025 Middlesex Senior Country Championships. The course has earned recognition for its high-quality greens and is considered one of the finest in the North London area.
