The Hemmingford Sport & Country Club is situated in a rural, wooded area of the Monteregie region near the American border, featuring two distinct 18-hole courses. The property, which traces its origins to 1965 when the first nine holes were established, offers a private course known as the Village and a public course called the Frontière. The club underwent significant renovations in 2019 under new ownership, including the renewal of course maintenance machinery and improvements to the irrigation system. The Village course is described as very challenging and private, while the Frontière course is open to the public. Both layouts are designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The grounds have been maintained with extended cart lanes and proper delineation to allow for earlier spring usage, and the property features woodlands that have received maintenance. A notable feature of the course is a new lake complemented by a fountain, which can be viewed from the main pavilion. The club also includes a main chalet that was completely renovated in 2020, featuring a new terrace and revamping of changing rooms. The facility offers amenities such as a snack bar and a dining room available for private events. The course has hosted events for the Montreal Regional Association, with tournament managers noting the excellent quality of the facilities and the positive reception from players. The club continues to offer a complete golf experience with a focus on maintaining high-quality grounds and providing services for various levels of play.
