The current layout, known as "Heather Glen 2.0," combines the original Grove 9 with the best holes from the Creek and Hills sections. Recent improvements include the addition of a new par 3 at hole 14, which was restored to the course after previous removal. Notable modifications include extended tee boxes on Grove 6 (now hole 2, a longer par 4) and repositioned tees on Grove 9 (now a par 4). The course offers multiple tee options to accommodate varying skill levels.

The course provides practice facilities and hosts tournaments, leagues, and group outings. Amenities include a pro shop and online booking system. The facility emphasizes course conditions and player experience, with access programs like the PGC Access Card offering discounted tee times.
