Hawley Golf and Country Club evolved from humble beginnings in the mid 1920s as a 3-hole course built on pasture land to an 18-hole, par 71 course. The course is located at 301 Highway 10 in Hawley, Minnesota 56549. The course measures 6,114 yards with a rating of 69.1 and a slope of 122.
With its mature trees and rolling hills, the course is suitable for all skill level golfers. The course rests along the edge of the Buffalo River and is nestled amongst tree-laden rolling hills. The course features a man-made lake and a stone bath house which were constructed by the WPA in the 1930s. The course is challenging yet forgiving with well-maintained grounds.
The course is open to the public and well known in the area as an affordable, enjoyable and friendly place to play golf.
