Hawk’s Landing Golf Club

Hawk's Landing Golf Club is an award-winning desert course designed by architect Cary Bickler, located in California's hi-desert near Yucca Valley, approximately 30 minutes from Palm Springs. The course features a unique 12-hole layout divided into two 6-hole loops, allowing flexible play options from a quick 6-hole round to a full 18 holes across three loops.

Set within the natural desert landscape, the course blends seamlessly with its surroundings, creating striking contrasts between native desert terrain and manicured greens. The design incorporates a challenging mix of par threes and par fives, complemented by scenic water hazards that enhance both difficulty and visual appeal.

Environmentally conscious design elements are integral to the course. Each hole is named after local wildlife, and native vegetation areas throughout the property serve dual purposes of preserving natural beauty while capturing and conserving water—a critical consideration in the California desert.

The course suits various play styles, from leisurely rounds to corporate and charity tournaments, with an on-site restaurant called The Roost offering dining with course views. The layout and design create a challenging yet rewarding golfing experience within the distinctive hi-desert setting.
