Hattiesburg Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Founded in 1919, the club relocated to its present location in 1959 following a fire that destroyed the original facility. The course underwent a significant redesign in 1999 by Max Maxwell and Nathan Crace, ASGCA, transforming it into a distinctive test of shot-making skill characterized by towering pines lining the fairways and hilly terrain.

The course is recognized as one of the finest and most enjoyable in Mississippi, earning accolades from Golfweek in 2023 and 2024. Hattiesburg Country Club has a prestigious tournament history, hosting USGA qualifiers, State Amateur Championships, and State Opens. Most notably, the course hosted the PGA Tour's Magnolia Classic from 1968 to 1993, an event held during The Masters week that attracted many of golf's greatest players. Notable champions include Craig Stadler, Roger Maltbie, Russ Cochran, Jim Gallagher Jr., and Payne Stewart, who won his first PGA Tour event here in 1982.
