Established in 1926, the Hartney Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Westman, Manitoba. Following significant flooding in 2011, the course underwent a complete redesign and reopened in 2016 as a 9-hole layout. The redesigned course features various bends and elevations with trees and hazards strategically placed throughout. Large greens characterize each hole, providing a challenging yet accessible experience for golfers of all skill levels. Seven of the nine holes offer both front and back tee boxes with varying yardages, allowing for a full 18-hole round. Two sets of trees are found on every hole, adding complexity to play. The course spans 2,750 yards total and is navigable by foot or cart. The club features a licensed clubhouse with a spacious covered deck overlooking holes 1 and 9, offering views and refreshment facilities. Located 1 kilometer north of Hartney on Highway 21, the course operates from May through September and will celebrate its centennial in 2026.
