Harbourside Golf Course

Harbourside Golf Course is a distinctive layout featuring three nine-hole courses at The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Florida. The three nines—White Egret (3,342 yards), Red Hawk (3,314 yards), and Blue Heron (3,368 yards)—can be combined into three different 18-hole configurations, each with unique characteristics.

Located alongside Sarasota Bay and the Longboat Key Club Moorings, the course showcases waterfront views throughout. The White Egret nine features tight fairways with minimal water hazards, while the Red Hawk nine, redesigned by architect Ron Garl, offers a more open and forgiving layout with strategic water features. The signature Blue Heron nine, redesigned in 2005, borders Sarasota Bay and presents scenic beauty alongside challenging play.

Notable holes include the White Egret's Par 4 No. 9 (437 yards), which requires long driving and demands crossing a small lake to reach a two-tiered green, and the Blue Heron's signature Par 5 No. 5 (580 yards)—a horseshoe-shaped hole with a peninsula green requiring water crossings twice. The course accommodates all skill levels while providing championship-caliber challenges, making it regularly ranked among the country's top courses.
