Grijota Golf ☆ Follow

Grijota Golf is a nine-hole golf course located in the Tierra de Campos region of Palencia, Castilla y León. The course encompasses 17 hectares and offers two complete 9-hole routing options. Playing from the yellow tees, the course measures 4,912 meters with a par of 69, a course rating of 66.6, and a slope rating of 115. From the red tees, distances are 4,310 meters with the same par and a slope rating of 112, making the course playable for different skill levels.

Designed by Jerónimo Arroyo and Francisco Álvarez, the layout is characterized by a challenging design featuring numerous lakes, bunkers, and strategic hazards throughout the routing. The course requires golfers to utilize the full range of their clubs and demands careful course management due to the elevated difficulty ratings.

The facility offers comprehensive amenities including an on-site golf school with individual instruction, a specialized pro shop, a cafeteria with views of the course, and a restaurant with capacity for 140-160 diners, expandable to 200 for events. Additional facilities include a spa and wellness center with pools, jacuzzi, and gymnasium. The course has hosted competitions as part of the Castilla y León Golf Circuit, including senior tour events, reflecting its standing within regional golf.
