Grenfell Country Club is an 18-hole sand greens golf course located in Weddin Shire in NSW's Central West, less than a half day's drive from Sydney and approximately two hours from Canberra, Dubbo, Bathurst, and Wagga. The course is situated in the historic town of Grenfell, birthplace of Henry Lawson, where much of the region's old world character is maintained. The facility features sand greens, a characteristic common to courses in rural Australia. Beyond golf, the club operates nine tennis courts and maintains a clubhouse with a full bar service and a large function room accommodating up to 260 people for meetings and conferences. The club welcomes visitors to play anytime, with formal clubhouse opening on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 5:00pm and Sunday mornings at 10:00am, with an afternoon reopening at 4:00pm.
