Green Ridge Golf Club

Green Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole public course located in Johnson, NY, featuring par 71 with a slope of 119 and rating of 72.3. Designed by Lance Enholm, the course originated as a nine-hole layout in 1964, developed by Harvey Izzo. Enholm purchased the front nine in 1980 and completed the back nine in 2002, which has been voted the best back nine in Orange County.

The course offers a throwback to mid-1900s golf design with narrow fairways, small greens, mature trees, strategic sand traps, woods, and water hazards. The front nine features short par-4s, while the back nine combines hilly fairways with blind second shots. The signature hole is Hole 15, a 190-yard par 3 over water to an elevated green. Set in a scenic valley with views from the clubhouse patio, the course is designed around a vintage 1880 farmhouse and maintains pristine conditions year-round. Green Ridge welcomes both walkers and cart users, offering a leisurely, peaceful golfing experience away from crowded courses.
