Great Salterns Golf Course opened on 14 July 1926 and is an inland links course with a par of 69. The course is 5,620 yards long and presents challenges to most players, especially when coastal winds strengthen. Located at Burrfields Road in Portsmouth, it is a mature parkland course with excellent greens and features two holes playing across Salterns Lake. The course is known for its friendly welcome to golfers of all abilities. Owned by Portsmouth City Council, it offers competitively priced green fees and season tickets with reductions available for seniors over 65 and juniors under 18.
