Great Lever & Farnworth Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course of 5,791 yards with a par of 69, designed by Andrew Mair and built in 1917. The club was formed through the amalgamation of Great Lever Golf Club and Farnworth Golf Club, both 9-hole courses at the time. Located in Bolton, Greater Manchester, the course offers a parkland layout that is flat and easy walking but challenging for golfers of all standards. Due to its location, there are spectacular views over the Cheshire Plain, North Lancashire and into Yorkshire.

The course is known for its rolling fairways, mature trees, and strategically placed bunkers. The par threes are probably the best holes as they are fairly tight and require good clubbing. Notable holes include the par-4 sixth with its tight fairway and natural hazards, and the par-3 sixteenth which requires a precise tee shot to avoid the well-guarded green. The course has a rating of 68.3 with a slope of 121.
