Granite Falls Golf Club - South is an 18-hole championship course located at 15949 W. Clearview Boulevard in Surprise, Arizona, within the Sun City Grand residential community. Designed by renowned architects Billy Casper and Greg Nash and opened in 1997, the South course stretches 6,839 yards with a par of 72. The course features Bermuda grass throughout and offers multiple tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels, with a course rating of 68.9 and slope rating of 116.

The course exemplifies a Midwestern aesthetic despite its Sonoran Desert location, characterized by large, undulating greens and rolling fairways that demand accurate tee shots and precise approach play. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes, including a distinctive finishing hole with two lakes joined by a cascading waterfall and fountain. The course also features an island green on the par-4 16th hole, which is noted as a signature feature of the layout.

Granite Falls South has earned significant recognition, including being voted 5th in the Top 25 Public Courses in Arizona by GolfPass Golfer's Choice Awards for 2025, and 10th in Top 25 Courses for Pace of Play in the U.S. by Golf Advisor in 2024.
