Grange-over-Sands Golf Club is a mature 18-hole course designed by renowned architect Dr Alister MacKenzie in the 1920s, measuring 6,044 yards with a par of 70 from the white tees. Located in the picturesque Lake District in Cumbria, approximately 20 minutes from M6 junction 36, the course features well-kept level fairways set in scenic terrain.
The layout accommodates golfers of all skill levels, with its straightforward design making it accessible for beginners while providing a challenging test for lower handicappers. The course benefits from excellent all-year-round greens maintained to USPGA standards. Over the years, the original MacKenzie design has been refined through hole extensions, new green installations, and a modern drainage system installation.
The course welcomes visitors seven days a week and provides an ideal destination for away days and society outings.
