Gozensui Golf Club

Gozensui Golf Club is an 18-hole woodland course located in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, Japan. Designed by Asami Katsuichi and Dohi Isao, the course emphasizes strategic play while preserving the natural landscape. The designers minimized earthwork and tree removal to maintain the pristine natural environment, utilizing the existing terrain to create a challenging layout without extensive modification.

The course features lush old-growth forests and clear streams that characterize the natural setting. Its design philosophy centers on authentic terrain utilization, offering what the club describes as "healing golf" amid northern Japan's wilderness. The course presents a natural strategic character derived from its original topography, combining natural beauty with demanding play.

The course has hosted significant tournaments, including the 56th Hokkaido Open Golf Championship in 2022.
