Established in 1895, Goring & Streatley Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 course located in Berkshire within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The layout features chalkland terrain with free-draining conditions, enhanced by a state-of-the-art irrigation system that ensures playable conditions year-round.

Much of the course was designed by Harry Colt, the renowned architect responsible for Sunningdale and Wentworth. The design presents a challenging test of golf across undulating land, mature woodland, and strategically positioned bunkers. The course offers varied difficulty, demanding a level of proficiency while maintaining enjoyment for golfers of different abilities.

The greens are noted for their quality, renowned for being fast, true, and consistently well-maintained throughout the year. Set in the Thames Valley landscape, the course provides panoramic views of the Ridgeway and River Thames, contributing to its scenic setting.

The course structure balances challenge with accessibility, requiring skilled play while remaining engaging for club members and visitors. The combination of Colt's design philosophy, natural terrain, and modern course management creates a respected venue within the region.
