Goodyear Golf Club, established in 1980, is a beautiful course set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 18-hole course at the Goodyear Golf Club facility in Danville, Virginia features 6524 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Goodyear's front 9 was designed by Gene Hamm, and the back 9 was designed in house, and opened in 1994. 18 holes meander over rolling hills and between dense woods to provide the player not only with a rewarding challenge, but breathtaking views as well.

Goodyear offers four sets of tee boxes to accommodate players of all skill levels. The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 126. The course is characterized by elevated greens with false fronts and multi-level putting surfaces that require strategic approach play. The back nine is much tighter than the front, really like two different golf courses. Notable holes include a demanding par 3 ranked as the number one handicap hole and a finishing par 5 that crosses a creek diagonally through the fairway.

The Goodyear Golf Club in Danville, VA is supported and managed by the Goodyear Company. This is a private club that allows outside play. The course has developed a strong reputation as what Goodyear has since become one of the best kept secrets in Virginia.
