Golfvereniging Albatross

Golfvereniging Albatross is a nine-hole parkland course located in Prinsenbeek near Breda, situated on a centuries-old estate. The layout features numerous water hazards, attractive tree-lined boundaries, and strategically positioned bunkers that present a challenging test for golfers. The course design makes it difficult to maintain handicaps, requiring accuracy and course management skills.

The club is known for its welcoming atmosphere and hospitality, distinguishing itself by not pairing visiting players with other groups during rounds. The course accommodates golfers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. A pleasant terrace allows members and guests to relax and enjoy refreshments after their round.

Albatross offers membership at various levels, including junior memberships starting at €215 annually, golf lessons from €30, and a "golfstart" program at €109. The club maintains an active competitive calendar with winter and summer competitions, including mixed play events and eclectics. The on-site Brasserie Boschdal provides dining facilities. The course is professionally managed with a resident pro, Rutger Mensen, available for instruction and swing analysis.
