Golfplatz Hofbieber ☆ Follow

The Golfplatz Hofbieber, home to the Golfclub Fulda Rhön e.V., is an 18-hole course situated in the Biosphere Reserve Rhön, near the Baroque city of Fulda. The facility is designed to blend naturally into its surroundings, offering views of the Rhön mountains and Schloss Bieberstein. The course layout features three ponds and 34 bunkers, alongside other hazards that provide a challenge for experienced players while still offering opportunities for beginners. The primary difficulty of the course stems not from its length, but from the precision required to hit the correct landing zones. Strategic play is rewarded, as accuracy is essential for achieving low scores. The course includes a 6-hole chip and putt area, a driving range, and a chipping green, with cart and trolley hire available for play. The club hosts a variety of tournaments throughout the year, including After Work events, senior golf competitions, and club championships. Regular training workshops are also conducted by the golf pro, focusing on long and short game techniques. The course is part of a cooperation with other clubs in the region, allowing members to play on ten different courses.
