Golfclub Siegerland e.V. is an 18-hole championship golf course located in the Heestal valley near Kreuztal, in the region where the Siegerland transitions into the Sauerland. Situated at 400 meters elevation across 85 hectares, the course is embedded in the rolling foothills landscape with impressive views of the surrounding mid-mountain terrain. The layout features challenging fairways with varied terrain structure offering natural obstacles and constantly changing vistas across the Sieger and Sauerland regions. As a member-owned, non-profit club, the facility emphasizes meticulous course maintenance and clubhouse care. The setting is notable for its peaceful environment free from vehicle noise and power lines, where golfers experience only natural sounds including birdsong and grazing horses on neighboring meadows.
